This was DJ MandyMixes’ 3rd year as DJ for the Oceanside Museum of Art’s Annual Halloween Event – Art After Dark. In 2020 we went virtual and DJ Mandy provided the score/soundtrack for the online fashion show and then hosted a virtual dance party after the fashion show via Zoom. Art After Dark has been reimagined this year as a virtual experience. Gather with those on your quarantine list and celebrate Halloween at home with a visual spectacle of wearable art that is equal parts art, fashion, and fun! Enjoy an eclectic fashion show filmed at the museum, complete with commentary and behind the scenes peeks at the road to the runway. In addition to voting on favorite looks, bidding on coveted must-haves will be available.Be sure to get your tickets early before prices increase on October 26.Art After Dark has been reimagined this year as a virtual experience. PRESHOW The pre-show begins at 6:00pm with flashbacks to prior years’ Art After Dark experiences and entertainment. Hosts will then share the road to the runway for this year’s artists and their extreme wearable art.
FASHION SHOW Eclectic wearable art creations by local fashionistas and featured artist Melissa Meier will strut their way across the runway. Cast your vote for the People’s Choice winner and bid on your favorite ensembles and accessories. Click here to preview the artwork and bid on your favorites.
DJ HOUSE PARTY After the fashion show, DJ Mandy will keep your house party rocking as she spins favorite tunes until 9:00pm.

PLAYLIST:Since this is the first ever ALL electric car from Porsche we played some funky electric sounds but also a mix of hits for everyone to enjoy.
Put Saturday, October 26 on your calendar and get ready for a funky steampunky Halloween party inspired by Brian Kesinger’s characters Otto and Victoria and his Dream It Yourself exhibition. Bring your friends, family, or pet octopus along to enjoy a variety of rousing cirque entertainment from J7 Productions, spooky good dance jams from DJ MandyMixes, Victorian characters with a retro-futuristic twist, and a few more surprises still in the works at OMA’s legendary annual event. Two ticket levels will be available—VIP and General Admission. Must be 21+ to attend.

VIP guests will enjoy a private lounge from 6:00–8:00pm with catered appetizers and a hosted bar. In addition to the General Admission entertainment, VIPs will enjoy special perks including a signed limited edition Brian Kesinger print and gift bag with surprises from Spectrum Noir and CND.

PLAYLIST:The 911 Porsche was first released in 1966 so they had me play a mix of music from the 1960s to now.

Artwork by Ragnar serves as inspiration for the Classic Halloween Carnival theme that will include a variety of rousing entertainment, music, and art.
